Wildlife Biologists Attacked by Feral Dogs

December 19th, 2009

Two Florida wildlife biologists were recently attacked by feral dogs, necessitating one having to go to the hospital. Former director of the ASPCA, Roger Caras, referred to feral dogs as “wildlife enemy number two”, which denoted their status in relation to feral cats.  Not only do we need a new and more aggressive policy toward feral cats in this country, free-ranging dogs also need to be addressed. Not only are uncontrolled dogs  a danger to wildlife, but apparently a danger to wildlife biologists as well.
